The following stories are examples of clients across several industries that I have served successfully. Their various issues are highlighted along with the solutions I applied to improve their business operations, and their outcome is stated below.

Issue: Company had been operated by the founder who had recently retired. Son and daughter assumed control of the company and recognized that they did not possess the skills necessary to operate the company effectively. Revenue and profits were in a steady decline and the employees were not performing to their potential.

Solution: Assumed the General Managers position to reorganize and regain control of the company and stabilize its operations. Began a search for, screened and assisted in the hiring of a permanent General Manager that could grow the company. Also, recognized that the company had outgrown its old facilities and began the process for construction of a new production facility.

Outcome: Company has since received Washington State Small Manufacturer of the Year and Boeing Supplier of the Year awards, and the General Manager has received General Manager of the Year award.

Issue: Company was operating without a CFO/Controller and was experiencing financial difficulties.

Solution: Assumed the role of CFO/Controller and worked with Sr. Management to identify operating issues within the business.

Outcome: Company was eventually merged with a competitor.

Issue: Company was engaged in the development of hotel/recreation properties and was experiencing difficulties with funding due to the lack of adequate financial projections.

Solution: Assumed the role of the CFO and implemented accounting policies, procedures and controls. Developed necessary financial projections for the lending institutions and worked at securing necessary funding from a variety of sources for the various operations the company was engaged in.

Outcome: Secured financing for various projects.

Issue: Company was experiencing difficulties maximizing cash flow and profit. Owner was seeking help with various financial issues, accounting, and operational decisions.

Solution: Assumed the role of Financial Consultant and began working directly with the bookkeeper assisting her in proper accounting policy, procedure and controls.

Outcome: Restructured the books so owner could identify areas of financial opportunities thereby allowing him to enhance cash flow into the company and minimize costs.
